ProprioType
Use your Mac from Apple Vision Pro using only your hands as your input devices.
What it does
Connect your Mac to your Vision Pro and use a virtual trackpad by pointing and tapping. A virtual keyboard follows your hands so you can type by moving your fingers, almost like touch-typing.
Full Version
ProprioType includes its core Mac control experience. An optional one-time Full Version purchase in the Vision Pro app unlocks custom hand-keyboard layouts, toolbar customization, and Persona camera and microphone sharing.
System requirements
- Apple Vision Pro with visionOS 26 or later running ProprioType
- A Mac with macOS 26 or later running ProprioType Host
- A local network connection with both the Mac and Vision Pro connected
For best performance, connect the Mac over Ethernet and use the Vision Pro near your Wi-Fi router.
Install ProprioType Host
Download and open the ProprioType Host disk image, then drag the app to your Applications folder before launching it.
The host guides you through Local Network, Screen Recording, and Accessibility access. Its optional microphone installer is available from the host interface and may require restarting your Mac to finish installation.
